Join the MPO on April 3 for a Safe Routes to School (SRTS) workshop. SRTS helps communities make walking and biking to school safer, more comfortable, & more accessible for students and families. This workshop will introduce the fundamentals of SRTS and walk through how school-focused safety audits and data-driven planning can identify issues and prioritize improvements. Participants will learn how engineering, education, encouragement, evaluation, and enforcement strategies can work together to improve safety and support healthier travel choices for students.
