Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the five-year federal and state funding program for transportation projects covering all modes of travel in Palm Beach County.

The TIP is consistent with the FDOT work program and is developed through a continuing, cooperative, comprehensive and coordinated effort involving FDOT, the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, the Port of Palm Beach, the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority and municipalities within the County.

FY 2026-2030 TIP Amendment 3 Summary (PDF) – Scheduled for Adoption June 18, 2026.

This amendment adds design and construction funding to a new project, #4580941 CR-880 roadway reconstruction.

Appendices

The TIP starts with the MPO’s annual adoption of a List of Priority Projects. The list is shared with FDOT to be considered in the development of a Draft Work Program.  FDOT presents the Draft Tentative Work Program to the MPO “to determine the necessity of making any changes to projects included or to be included in the District Work Program and to hear requests for new projects to be added to, or existing projects to be deleted from, the District Work Program.” The FY 2027-2031 Draft Tentative Work Program will be presented by FDOT and endorsed by the MPO Governing Board at the October 30, 2025 Governing Board meeting.
