Leadership Palm Beach County Transportation & Tourism Day
The Palm Beach MPO was proud to help plan and coordinate Transportation & Tourism Day for the Leadership Palm Beach County Engage Class of 2026 in partnership with transportation and tourism agencies across the region. Participants explored transportation and tourism in Palm Beach County, experienced multiple modes of travel firsthand, and visited the Palm Beach MPO for a transportation panel featuring leaders from Palm Tran, Tri-Rail, Palm Beach County Airports, the Port of Palm Beach, and the Palm Beach MPO.
Thank you to all the speakers, partners, sponsors, and attendees who helped make the day a meaningful opportunity to highlight Palm Beach County’s transportation network and tourism industry. Transportation & Tourism Day was chaired by Palm Beach MPO Executive Director Valerie Neilson, a Leadership Palm Beach County Engage Class of 2016 alumna, with support from Deputy Director of Multimodal Brian Ruscher, who was recently accepted into the Leadership Palm Beach County Engage Class of 2027.
