Governing Board Member Training 02-24-2023 (Past)

In order to assist MPO Governing Board members with understanding the major work products of the agency, the roles and responsibilities of Board and committee members as well as the mission and vision of the MPO, staff will conduct a 2-hour training.

Section 2.2.C of the MPO’s Operating Procedures specifies that “All officers must have completed the MPOAC Institute training program for elected officials, attended a national Association of MPOs (AMPO) Conference, or received a similar training.” Upon passing a brief exam following completion of the training, this will qualify MPO Governing Board members to serve as officers.
