Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB)

As the Designated Official Planning Agency (DOPA) by the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (CTD), the Palm Beach MPO administers the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Local Coordinating Board (LCB) in Palm Beach County.

The LCB focuses on the needs of the TD population, specifically older adults, persons with disabilities, persons of low income, and children at risk. The primary responsibilities of the LCB are to plan for and evaluate the paratransit service provided by Palm Tran Connection, the local Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC) for Palm Beach County. The LCB meets quarterly, unless otherwise noted.

For information on the LCB policies and procedures, please review the TD LCB Bylaws and Grievance Procedures. For additional information on the MPO’s policies and procedures, please review the MPO Operating Procedures (PDF) and the Board and Committee Handbook (PDF).

Participate in the 2026 CTC Evaluation by contacting the LCB Liaison. The CTC Evaluation workbook is available at the CTD’s website.
